Mechanical Repair Technician II FAA - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Repair Technician II FAA - 2nd Shift to join their team in Miramar, FL. The role involves performing varied and complex tasks, resolving questions and problems, and working closely with supervisors and other support personnel. The successful candidate will participate in continuous improvement and environmental, health, and safety activities and initiatives.

Requirements

• Participate in continuous improvement and environmental, health, and safety activities and initiatives
• Understand and deliver on individual and departmental established performance goals
• Enter and retrieve information from our operating (SAP) system to perform daily activities
• Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain neat and orderly work area
• Follow specific instructions and use all required equipment to perform assigned work according to FAA and company regulations
• Inspect and disposition components and modules
• Rework/ repair, scrap, and replace/order components, modules, and LRU’s as required
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair all types of manufactured electronic accessory components as required
• Verify electrical continuity, insulation resistance testing, and dielectric testing of elector mechanical devices
