Join Collins Aerospace as a Principal Engineer, Software Engineering in Cedar Rapids, IA. Design, develop, document, test and design control and diagnostic systems. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers. Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics/Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- 8 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role in the Aerospace/Defense industry
- 5 years of experience in embedded software development and verification
- 5 years of experience developing software using C, C++, Ada, or Python
- 5 years of DO-178B/C development experience
