Principal Power & Analog Design Engineer

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Power & Analog Design Engineer to join our team in McKinney, TX. As a Principal Power & Analog Design Engineer, you will lead trade studies, define architecture, and design, analyze, test, and document analog and power conversion circuit card(s). You will also partner with ECAD drafters and provide product test and troubleshooting support.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
• Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with linear converters and non-isolated converter topologies
• Experience with EMI Filter design, analysis, test, and/or simulation considerations in power electronics circuits
• Experience with transformer or inductor design, analysis, test, and/or simulation considerations in power electronics circuits
• Experience with a schematic capture/circuit board layout CAD package
• Experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or other similar tools
