Job Description
Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a proven Principal Project Engineer to work onsite in Largo, FL to lead, develop, and establish the required technology and infrastructure for the Integrated Platforms portfolio. This multi-faceted role will lead cross functional teams through development, integration, and test of Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) Communication Systems.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Technical Program Manager, or Integrated Product Team Lead.
- Working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines with a strong focus on communications systems development.
- Ability to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
