Principal Software Engineer (Onsite)

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their Protected Communication Systems (PCS) Software Engineering Department. The role will involve participating on collaborative teams, employing agile software development techniques, and working on the full lifecycle of product development. The position requires a degree in STEM and minimum 8 years of experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience. Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Requirements

• Experience in Software Engineering
• Familiarity with developing applications using communication protocols
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
