Principal System Safety Engineer - Product Safety (Onsite)

The Principal System Safety Engineer will join the Product Safety team in Richardson, TX, and work on mission-critical systems for civilian, military, and government customers. The team will utilize system safety methodologies in systems engineering processes, with key responsibilities including safety hazard analysis, hazard mitigation, and fault tree analysis.

Requirements

• Support design and development teams to develop System Safety related requirements for mission-critical systems
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate hazards and risks associated with mission critical systems
• Development of Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessment (PSSA), System Safety Assessment (SSA), System Safety Hazard Analysis (SSHA), Hazardous Materials Management Report (HMMR), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
