Principal Systems Engineer - C5I

The Systems Engineering (SE) Long Range Radars (LRR) department is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to contribute to concept development, architectural design, requirements generation and flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, testing, and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense and Sensor Systems. In this role, you will support the technical development and sustainment of the C5I product line, working on command-and-control systems.

Requirements

• Developing and supporting system architecture design and implementation.
• Defining, documenting, and managing system requirements.
• Creating and maintaining Interface Design Documentation.
• Monitoring existing systems to identify bottlenecks, performing root cause analysis, and implementing improvements.
• Analyzing data for operations center hardware, software, and simulations.
• Using data analysis results to support issue identification and resolution.
• Collaborating across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve technical challenges.
• Assessing radar system performance data with respect to requirements.
• Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing innovative solutions.
• Presenting plans, designs, and system performance assessments to peers, internal leadership, and external customers.
• Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements.
