We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to work onsite in Largo, FL. This position requires an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret. The Principal Systems Engineer will organize and lead the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation while collaborating with the customer, subcontractors, and executive leadership.
Requirements
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of design professionals including Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Test, Logistics and other System Engineers.
- Experience in at least three of the following areas: Systems Engineering/Test Engineering/Software Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience across the Systems Engineering V with an emphasis on development, integration, and test.
- Experience working with Secure Voice and VTC Communication Systems.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. Must have the ability to obtain Top Secret.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
