Senior Manager, Contracts - Precision Fires & Maneuver (Onsite)

RTX is seeking two Senior Manager, Contracts leadership roles to lead the Contracts teams and portfolio of programs within the Precision Fires & Maneuver Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) within Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) in Tucson, AZ. The successful candidates will have immediate supervisory responsibility over a team of Contracts Professionals, responsible for their growth and development, as well as leading the front-end of the business assessments and strategy development, supporting the development and execution of sound capture and negotiations strategies, internal and external customer relationships, ensuring contracting actions are proactively supportive of the business’s long range financial planning, and tactical / foundational contracting knowledge of the team is sound.

Requirements

• Effective communication with internal and external senior level customers and partners
• Strong aptitude for contract negotiations with the ability to understand the financial aspects for overall business interests
• Contribution to strategy regarding growth paths and creative solutions
• Ability to develop and maintain strong, credible, and productive relationships with both partners and Customers
• Leadership and supervisory experience
• Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) contracting
• Experience in the development of Contracts professionals
