Collins Aerospace is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team Onsite in Fairfield, CA. The successful candidate will develop and improve manufacturing processes, provide engineering and manufacturing support, and lead corrective action investigations. The role requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience. U.S. citizenship is required.
Requirements
- Guide junior engineers in the manufacturing engineering team
- Support a manufacturing area as part of a cross-functional team
- Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or reduce costs
- Communicate effectively within and outside of one's own team
- Lead corrective action investigations
- Adhere to all EHS practices and standards
- Propose the sequence of operations, installations, and supports
- Investigate and resolve technical, operational, and quality issues
- Interface and work with Production Operators, Design, Quality, and other Manufacturing Engineers
- Coordinate with the test team for Acceptance Testing
