Job Description
Collins Aerospace is looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer - Embedded Communications to join their Integrated Secure Processing Solutions (SPS) team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in STEM and minimum 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience. The role requires leading embedded software engineering, driving technical proposals, and architecting and designing software systems. The team utilizes a variety of skills, including requirements analysis, commercial and military communication functionality, and software engineering development best practices. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and grow knowledge within the Cross Domain Solutions and gain niche skills enabling them to be unique in all they do.
Requirements
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
