Senior Principal Systems Engineer position at Collins Aerospace, responsible for leading the expansion of Air Combat Training Systems capabilities. The role involves guiding the team in performing systems engineering design and development, including bidding, requirements capture, system design, system integration, system verification & validation testing, and support for certification and qualification.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
- Must be able to travel up to 20% throughout the year
- Recognized Master in at least one technical area and leading others in that area
- Experience with leading a team to develop complex system of systems requirements and test procedures
