Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience with one or more of the following: RF hardware simulation, design, fabrication, integration, test, supplier support, and/or production support
- Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab.
- Strong hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, phase noise analyzers, and/or antenna measurement systems)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in complex systems.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to collaborate with other engineers, procurement and production staff, and project managers.
- Experience managing engineering projects from conception through production
- Ability to coordinate with suppliers and manage timelines and budgets.
- Strong academic foundation in: RF/Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetic Theory, Antenna Theory, Signal Processing, Radar Systems
- Experience interfacing with government customers and agencies
- Advanced degree in STEM field
- Willingness to travel to support integration, test events, supplier engagement, and/or customer meetings.
