As a Senior Software Engineer at Collins Aerospace, you will be on a mission to develop, test, and prove compliance to the certification authorities that our products are safe, reliable, and airworthy! You will support the development of state-of-the-art flight critical embedded software for military and commercial aviation applications.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience developing software architecture in an embedded software environment.
- Full life-cycle software development experience.
- Experience with DO-178 (Level A) or similar military standards
- Experience managing projects and tasks across functional teams and geographic locations
- Experience with software verification testing
- C, Assembly, and/or Python programming experience preferred
- Experience using logic analyzers and other lab test equipment
