Senior System Safety Engineer

The position is for a Senior System Safety Engineer to lead one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs. The candidate will perform system safety program tasks and analyses, coordinate with customer safety representatives, and collaborate with program management and government approval authorities. The role requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with System Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Safety Engineering.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
