We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals, and be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux.
- Experience with Containerization Technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher.
- Experience with Continuous Integration"]/Continuous Delivery Tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
- Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
- Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.
- High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
