Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer/Analyst to work on challenging software development projects, with a focus on systems modeling and analysis. The role involves designing, architecting, and coding critical capabilities in an active Agile environment, and collaborating with a highly skilled team to design and innovate software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, working knowledge of system modeling and simulation, and a degree in a STEM field.
Requirements
- Experience as a Systems Analyst/System Engineer in the Aerospace and Defense industry
- Working knowledge of developing system models and simulations, and developing complex algorithmic solutions in a tool such as MATLAB
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other Engineering related discipline
- Experience with Command and Control (C2), Surveillance/Radars, Air Traffic Control, Mission Planning, Missile Systems or Combat/Fire Control systems
- Experience with radar sensor integration, track filtering and track management techniques and algorithms, cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies
