SkillBridge Intern DOD: Test Technician, 1st Shift (Onsite)

The SkillBridge Intern DOD: Test Technician, 1st Shift (Onsite) position at RTX Corporation is an internship opportunity for active-duty military service members to transition into a career in the aerospace and defense industry. The role involves performing tests to assess conformance with engineering specifications and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams on technical tasks.

Requirements

• Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces
• Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29
• Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date
• Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command
• Typically requires a HS Diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Experience with component-level troubleshooting
• Experience with schematics or blueprints
• Experience with using multimeters, oscilloscope, and/or spectrum analyzer
