Software Engineer II - Air Traffic Systems (Onsite)

Our Connected Aviation group has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer II to join our Air Traffic Systems (ATS) team, supporting the development and maintenance of a safety-of-life Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) developed by the FAA for civil aviation.

Requirements

• Perform and support software development to design, develop, and test software for processing, analyzing, and presenting high-capacity data collected from safety-critical, real-time, satellite-based systems
• Work with the software and leadership team to support cost and schedule objectives
• Support formal and informal software integration and test activities
• Support software qualification testing to meet DO-178B standards for requirements-based verification and robustness testing
• Update software process documentation and work instructions to meet DO-178B standards and company processes
• Update documentation related to test, verification, and design activities
