Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join their team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting LTAMDS. The role involves working across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement solutions. The successful candidate will have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions seamlessly.
Requirements
- Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces
- Lead testing efforts, develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation
- Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging
- Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues
- Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact
- Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
- Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements
- Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers
- Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations
