Systems Engineer II

At RTX, the world largest aerospace and defense company, we are looking for a Systems Engineer to support the Transformation & Initiatives (T&I) department. The T&I department provides subject matter support focusing on driving affordability, process improvement, and cost-informed decision-making initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of systems engineering practices.

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience supporting one or more of the following Production or life-cycle cost modeling, Affordability or cost trade studies, Design-to-cost activities or cost parametric modeling or Total ownership or life-cycle cost analysis
• Experience supporting proposal development or program execution activities
• Experience communicating cost and affordability analysis results to engineering and program stakeholders
• Experience with developing, documenting, or supporting processes, methods, or tools
