Silicon Pratt & Whitney is expanding its production structures and developing teams due to a new project, and is seeking a Technologist to develop, monitor, and develop technological processes for the mechanical processing of aircraft engine parts.
Requirements
- Higher technical education in the field of machine building, mechanical engineering, or related fields
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and norms
- Ability to plan and organize technological processes
- Knowledge and ability to apply solutions from the field of process automation
- Good knowledge of the course, specifics, and conditions of mechanical processing
- Highly developed communication and teamwork skills
- Analytical thinking and planning skills
- Good knowledge of the Catia and/or NX software
- Very good knowledge of MS Office package
- Knowledge of English at the B2 level
- Knowledge of project management and data analysis, e.g. Six Sigma
- Desirable knowledge of SAP
- Desirable experience in nickel alloy processing
- Desirable knowledge and experience in calculations using MES, in particular in the field of process simulations (e.g. Deform)
- Knowledge of special process technologies will be an additional advantage
