Job Description
The Credit Department Associate at a family-owned wine and spirits wholesaler in Avon, MA is seeking a Full Time individual to join their team. The role involves scanning checks, applying customer payments, resolving overdue accounts, and assisting with new account openings, while also addressing any issues that arise. The position is based on a full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm schedule.
Requirements
- Scan checks into Bank
- Add checks to make sure they balance w/ the scanned balance
- Apply customers payments via checks mailed in and On-Line payments
- Add any application issues into excel spreadsheet
- Run overdue reports regularly
- Contact sales staff regarding overdues
- Fax or email copies of invoices to customers
- Set up new accounts (for customers and suppliers)
- Enter all journal entries
- Work on any projects new and ongoing that the Credit Manager requests
- Communicate with the Credit Manager (if unavailable)
- Cover the Credit Managers responsibilities when she is out of office
