Robotics Electrical / Computer Engineer

Rugged Robotics is seeking an Electrical/Computer Engineer to join their hardware team. The team is responsible for prototyping, designing, and manufacturing robotic solutions for the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware development, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Requirements

• Develop and own embedded firmware that powers core robot functionality
• Support a full product lifecycle including detailed-design, manufacturing, and deployment phases
• Architect and design electrical systems for construction robots
• Create circuits, schematics, and board layouts of new PCB designs
• Make informed engineering decisions by creating simulations, running tests, and conducting analyses
• Engage and collaborate with vendors around the world
• Help shape the electrical and embedded foundation of a product
