Job Description
Rugged Robotics is looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to help build and implement software solutions for their construction layout robots. The role involves architecting and building novel software features, prototyping and testing software on hardware platforms, and collaborating with team members to solve problems and improve functionality.
Requirements
- Experienced with software development on robotic systems
- Familiar with ROS, Python, & C++
- Knowledgeable with relevant areas of robotics & control such as kinematics, sensor fusion, path planning, perception, calibration algorithms, and firmware development
- Highly collaborative and able to work across function boundaries
- Eager to learn new technologies and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
