Job Description
Rugged Science designs and manufactures ruggedized computer enclosures, industrial components, and custom solutions. They are hiring a Quality Inspector for their main facility in Sparks, MD, responsible for inspection, verification, and documentation of electronic and mechanical parts. The role involves following procedures, supporting production activities, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
- IT certifications (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620) required
- Knowledge of IPC-A-600 is desired
- Proficiency with calipers, height gauges, and other dimensional measuring equipment
- Ability to read complex engineering drawings
- Ability to develop inspection plans based on engineering drawings
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- High degree of attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency with computers and electronic ERP systems
