Job Description
Ruppert Landscape is seeking an Irrigation Technician to join their North Charleston Maintenance team. Responsibilities include performing routine irrigation inspections, identifying and resolving issues, and providing recommendations for upgrades. Qualifications include 1 year of experience in irrigation maintenance and installation, basic knowledge of construction plans, and certification in irrigation systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience performing irrigation maintenance and installation in a commercial or residential environment, or similar experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical fields
- Basic knowledge of construction plans and diagrams
- Irrigation certification(s)
- Experience with servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial/residential irrigation systems
- Knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers and sensors
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with clients
- Familiarity with smart phones and basic computer operations
- Strong written, verbal and personal communication skills
- Valid driving license with a clean record
- DOT physical to obtain a DOT medical card
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand, squat, reach for long periods and lift minimum 50 lbs as needed
