Teacher

As a dedicated Teacher in our Head Start program, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of young minds in our community. Your patient and accommodating approach, coupled with your detail-oriented nature, ensures that every child will receive the individualized attention they need to thrive. Collaborating seamlessly with your classroom team, you will implement an engaging and enriching curriculum, fostering school readiness and appropriate development in every child.

Requirements

• Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work
• Supportive and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work
• Patient, conscientious, relaxed and cooperative team worker
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's degree in a related field or any field as agreed upon by the agency with 15 credit hours relating to Early Childhood Education
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with one year of paid experience working with young children or Associate Degree with 15 early childhood credits
• Experience with special needs children is desirable
