Job Description
Join our Russell Investments Global Finance Department as an Accountant II. In this role, you will support the Global Accounting team by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, providing analytic review of financial statement accounts, and ensuring transactions are accounted for properly. You will have a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Requirements
- 1-2 years professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree/or college courses and investment industry experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office Suite skill set, with Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience or familiarity with month-end close processes
- Familiarity with multi-currency transactions
- Strong team player with willingness to assist others
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficient understanding of US GAAP, IFRS a plus
- Basic knowledge of the Asset Management industry
