Lower School Associate Teacher

Rye Country Day School is seeking Lower School Associate Teachers to participate in a two-year program that combines teaching experience with a Master's degree in Elementary Education.

Requirements

• Commit to the RCDS Associate Teaching Program
• Collaborate with Head Teacher
• Assume responsibility for instructional planning, implementation, and assessment
• Work with small groups in activities
• Help children with academic, social, and emotional support
• Plan and conduct class meetings
• Provide support to the Lead Teacher
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and parents
• Attend all meetings called by the Head of School
• Utilize release time and financial support for professional growth opportunities
• Share responsibilities for bus duty, waiting rooms, and morning greeters
