Assembler -2nd shift Palatine

At S&C Electric Company, we're seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our assembly function as an assembler. As an assembler, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. You will assemble Mark V, TR-II, ScadaMate, or Vista Switches, and work in a production environment, engaging in continuous production activity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficient in reading blueprints
• Testing knowledge of electrical switching e.g. relays, contactors and circuit breakers.
• Demonstrate the skills to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools.
• Ability to use shop math and measuring tools such as tape measures.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly operations preferred.
• Manufacturing assembly experience.
• Soldering experience preferred.
• Respirator certification required.
