Job Description
S&C Electric Company is seeking an advanced assembler to coordinate our assembly function. As an advanced assembler, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. In this job, you will perform a variety of assembly and test positions for IntelliRupter and Power Quality products.
Requirements
- Assemble and test IntelliRupter products based on the documentation including bills of material, blueprints, and any change notices provided by the engineering staff
- Complete testing at timing stations and run switch through 4 operations station
- Complete mechanical work including disconnect assemblies
- Experience troubleshooting electrical issues
- Perform the following tests: Timing Test capacitor voltage 425 DC, Partial Discharge Test AC voltage 50KV, Dielectric test 3 phase AC voltage 60KV-70KV, Calibration test parallel AC voltage 8.7KV-18KV in series 600 amps, 3 phase AC high voltage 8.7KV -18KV with 20 amps – 45 amps, Low voltage test capacitor voltage 425 DC
