Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 1+ years of demonstrated experience in a material handling, tugger, or related role within a manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to determine accurate order quantities consistently
- Ability to work independently/team-based and meet requirements of assigned materials requests
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate information efficiently and effectively to team members in a variety of production support departments
- Basic computer skills with the ability to review and respond to requests via internal applications
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate quantities and weights
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team member inside and outside of the department
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as scales and calipers
- Ability and willingness to follow Health Safety & Environment procedures accurately, reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team
- Frequently required to lift, carry, push and pull items ranging in weight from 5 to 35 lbs
- Proficient in using MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
