Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years' practical experience in application engineering systems, technical sales support, or electrical engineering consultant
- Proven expertise in applications or technical role, with in-depth knowledge of medium and high voltage products, their applications, and customization capabilities
- Foundational knowledge of electrical power distribution, generation, and transmission systems
- Basic knowledge of power systems to support the utility market and commercial and industrial market
- Knowledge of electrical standards for electrical equipment – CSA, ANSI, IEEE
- Working knowledge of power system protection and control applications for medium and high voltage electrical distribution
- Proficiency in Citrix, AutoCAD, Oracle EBS, and Salesforce is an asset
- Ability to interpret and analyze electrical schematic drawings and technical specifications
- Solid problem-solving capabilities, with experience evaluating complex technical scenarios and proposing optimal solutions independently and in collaborative environments
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills, ensuring the effective handling of multiple projects
- Highly skilled in identifying issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner
- Demonstrate active listening and stakeholder awareness, integrating feedback and perspectives into business-aligned recommendations and decisions
- Actively working towards P.Eng. designation is an asset
