Associate General Counsel, Head of Privacy & Data Protection

S&P Global is seeking a dynamic and principled leader to serve as Associate General Counsel, Head of Privacy & Data Protection. This individual will lead a comprehensive global privacy and data protection legal strategy across S&P Global, ensuring compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution
• Admission and good standing in at least one jurisdiction
• Ability to practice effectively in a complex, multinational regulatory environment
• 15+ years of progressive legal experience counseling on global privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations
• Experience advising on AI governance and emerging AI regulation strongly preferred
• Demonstrated strong legal and business judgment and strategic thinking in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape
• Excellent public speaking and written communication abilities
• Ability to work harmoniously with teams across regions and time zones
