Director, Application Architecture, Content Platforms

The Director of Application Architecture, Content Platforms will lead the design and implementation of next-generation cloud-based content platforms, working closely with Content Platforms, Platform Services, Product Management, Business Stakeholders, and Technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• 12+ years of overall software development experience with at least 3+ years in high-level architecture design and implementation
• Expert-level proficiency in a Java based or open-source ecosystem, with strong experience in building enterprise-scale applications and microservices architectures
• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudFormation
• Strong background in database technologies, including both relational and NoSQL database solutions for enterprise applications
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, along with CI/CD platforms for automated deployment and integration
• Experience with big data processing frameworks and distributed computing technologies for handling large-scale data workloads
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, business stakeholders, and development teams in an Agile environment
