Job Description
S.R.T. MedStaff is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for its Community Visiting Nursing Program. The ideal candidate will provide safe and holistic nursing care to patients in the Greater Toronto Area.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
- Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Certified Canada (WOCC) or International Interprofessional Wound Care Course Certification (IIWCC)
- One (1) year recent experience in the community
- One (1) year recent NSWOC experience
- Excellent problem solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with Information Technology
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Second language is considered an asset
- Experience as a visiting nurse, visiting registered nurse, visiting registered practical nurse, and/or community nurse considered an asset
