Job Description
We are looking for hard-working, reliable and safety minded individuals to join our team as a Trailer Technician. As a Trailer Technician you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and inspection of our fleet of trailers, and containers.
Requirements
- Conducts basic to moderately complex diagnostic, troubleshooting, and service and repair tasks for brake, suspension, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Assist with routine PM services (fluid changes, lubrication, tire, etc.) on tractors per the manufacturer and SA Recycling recommendations.
- Preforms structural repairs on trailer chassis, sub-frames, and containers.
- Maintains accurate records of all work performed.
- Performs annual DOT inspections and sign-offs.
- Communicates and works well with others in a safe and professional manner.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly working area.
- Performs all tasks fully within SA Recycling’s Safety and Environmental practices and procedures.
