Job Description
The Senior Systems Engineer will build and maintain client IT infrastructure, working on project and operational tasks, and reporting to the Agile Delivery Manager. The position is home-based with occasional office visits and is contract to hire.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise backup, recovery, and storage environments
- Deep expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication and Rubrik
- Strong knowledge of Azure backup architecture, Blob Storage tiers, immutability, and cross-region replication
- Hands-on experience with Veeam for Azure workloads, SQL, Microsoft 365, and AKS clusters
- Experience managing NetApp storage (FAS, AFF, CVO) and integrating it with Veeam
- Skilled in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills
