Senior Quality Engineer – Cloud Applications & Test Automation

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who brings strong hands-on testing and automation expertise, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to own test strategy and execution for complex cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate can independently drive quality for features and services, while working closely with Lead Quality Engineers and development teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering and testing.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing of web, API, and backend applications.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, or similar.
• Experience testing microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Solid experience with API testing (REST/JSON, Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Experience testing applications deployed on public cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation and test execution.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-driven mindset.
• Willingness to continuously learn new tools, technologies, and testing approaches.
