Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer (Robotics) to design, program, and commission robotic workcells and automated material handling systems at our Factory ONE in Munich. As a senior engineer, you will own the robotic systems and work at the intersection of mechanical engineering, robotics software, and production operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial robotics
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one major robot programming language/system
- Proven ability to integrate robots with peripheral equipment
- Experience with machine vision systems and 3D scanning or structured light systems
- Deep understanding of industrial robot safety standards and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong diagnostics capability across robots, peripherals, safety, I/O, and industrial communications
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, C++, or a similar general-purpose language
