Cutting Operator

The Cutting Operator is responsible for supplying cut and drilled pieces of fabrics to the production line in accordance with supplied patterns and product instructions and free of defects. The role involves loading materials, verifying fabric usage, and operating basic cutting equipment.

Requirements

• Loads the required materials onto the cutting table using the proper lifting devices and assistance as required
• Identifies fabric characteristic and if fabric is right side; this requires basic knowledge of different fabrics
• Maintains KanBan by cutting daily to meet the production schedule and committed on time delivery of orders
• Operates basic cutting equipment
• Completes required documentation as outlined by quality and manufacturing procedures
