Job Description
Assembler operates sewing machines to join parts of fabricated articles or garments, performs various sewing tasks, and conducts in-line inspections for quality purposes.
Requirements
- Minimum grade 10 and/or proven work experience
- 13 months to 2 years of related work experience in either a cutting or sewing environment considered an asset
- Good communication skills both orally and written
- Must have flexibility to work various shifts
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude are necessary
- Must have basic math skills including fraction recognition using both metric and standard measurements
- Good working computer skills; MS Office software – MS Word, Excel
