Job Description
Safepoint Insurance is seeking an experienced Underwriter to support our Lightspeed Department. The role involves reviewing applications, inspections, and endorsement requests to determine eligibility for property or request for coverage. The position requires a strong background in underwriting and risk analysis.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of underwriting experience for a carrier in property and casualty homeowners insurance required
- FL resident 2-20 or 20-44 license and reciprocal licenses in all 50 states preferred
- Thorough knowledge of the underwriting process and the analytics involved
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Advanced computer skills and strong systems knowledge
