Patient Accounts Representative job description: Perform billing claim edits, insurance follow-up, and other related tasks.

Requirements

• 1 year applicable experience
• Researching patient billing claims and insurance coverage
• Familiarity with NCCI edits, incidentals/inclusive, and bundling rules
• Ability to work with multiple teams/departments to resolve issues
• Payment plan or financial assistance coordination
• Researching and correcting claims denied by insurance companies
• Writing appeal letters to insurance companies
• Following up with insurance companies for no response claims
