Director of the Master of Social Work Program

The Saint Mary's College Master of Social Work program invites applications for a Director position. The Director will be responsible for leading the MSW program, teaching, research, and service expectations, as well as recruiting and retaining students. The position requires a Master's degree in social work and a doctoral degree, preferably in social work, with two years of post-MSW practice experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The Director will be an in-person position, not remote.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work from a program accredited by CSWE or CASWE
• Doctoral degree, preferably in social work
• Two years post-MSW practice experience
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching
• Experience with CSWE accreditation
• Knowledge of online program planning and competency-based assessment
• License in clinical social work preferred
• Willingness to earn license in clinical social work if not yet earned
