The Marketing and Communications Manager contributes to brand awareness and audience engagement by producing multimedia storytelling content for digital and traditional channels, including web, print, email, and social media. The manager also contributes to the development and execution of marketing strategies, including digital and social media advertising, email campaigns, and collateral development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in marketing communications roles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to produce both informative news content and persuasive marketing content.
- Experience managing strategy and content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Experience creating and managing digital and social media advertising campaigns.
- Experience using social media management platforms such as Sprout Social.
- Experience with Drupal and/or other web content management systems.
- Experience with design, photo editing, and video editing tools.
- Familiarity with web and social media analytics and reporting.
- Ability to think, act, and contribute strategically as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of constituents, including faculty, staff, students, alumnae, donors, and vendors.
- Ability to work onsite 4 days a week.
