Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN

Saint Therese – IHM Senior Living is looking for LPNs to join our dedicated team in Monroe, Michigan. We provide a home for seniors who want to live in a place that has the full continuum of care – meaning residents can move into independent living and then as their care needs evolve, they can move to assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or stay in our short-term rehab center.

Requirements

• Providing direct care to residents under individual plans of care, administering care and medications per doctor's orders.
• Administering medications and/or treatment in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Documenting resident care using charting software.
• Notifying Nurse Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and taking follow-up action, as necessary.
• Working to coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to CENAs.
• Displaying a positive attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
