Job Description
SAIT is hiring an Aviation Instructor to join the School of Transportation. The instructor will deliver high-level technology courses to mature learners, develop curriculum, and provide ongoing support to students. The ideal candidate has a Transport Canada AME-M license or experience as an Aircraft Gas Turbine Technician.
Requirements
- Transport Canada AME-M license or experience working as an Aircraft Gas Turbine Technician
- Minimum Post-Secondary Education: Two-year Aircraft Maintenance Technology diploma or Aircraft Gas Turbine Technician Certificate
- Communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation skills
- Innovative mindset and desire to make long-term lasting improvements
- Ability to take a firm stand on important issues while being empathetic to the needs of learners and the work team
- Previous teaching experience is an asset, but not required
