Alterations Fitter/Tailor/Sewer

The Alteration Staff will provide customer service and tailoring expertise, fitting and performing alterations on various garments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise and strong technical skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments
• Strong technical background in specialty skills such as: leather, knits, double face, beading, fine tailoring, buttonholes etc
• Ability to use all standard sewing, pressing & spotting equipment
• Ability to use specialty machines: Double-blind, Buttonhole, Cover-stitch, Leather
• Knowledge of Alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise
• High school graduate or equivalent
